Aldex CR26 Catalytic Media – Multi-Contaminant Removal Resin | Iron, Manganese, Arsenic & H₂S Treatment
Advanced Catalytic Media for Chemical-Free Water Treatment
Aldex CR26 is a high-performance catalytic filtration media engineered for simultaneous removal of iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), and arsenic from potable and non-potable water sources. Designed for professional water treatment applications, CR26 combines oxidation and adsorption within a durable resin bead—delivering long service life and exceptional contaminant reduction without chemical regeneration.
Unlike traditional oxidative media, Aldex CR26 is an insoluble catalytic resin that uses embedded metal-oxide nanoparticles to oxidize dissolved contaminants and permanently bind arsenite (As III) and arsenate (As V) within the media bed. This makes it an ideal solution for multi-contaminant well water treatment where iron, sulfur, manganese, and arsenic are present together.
Chemical-Free Regeneration Using Dissolved Oxygen
Aldex CR26 requires no chlorine, potassium permanganate, chlorine dioxide, or salt brine for regeneration. The oxidative capacity of the media is naturally restored during backwash cycles using dissolved oxygen in the water, significantly reducing operating costs, system complexity, and chemical handling.
Ideal for POE Systems & Professional Installations
With bulk density and handling characteristics similar to standard softening resin, Aldex CR26 is easy to load, backwash, and service. It requires less contact time than many competing oxidative media and can be backwashed at lower flow rates, making it suitable for residential, commercial, and light industrial point-of-entry (POE) systems.
